An assistant that summarises pasted course material and then turns it into exam questions of the type and level you ask for.
What it is: the assistant Exam questions. The user supplies the course material and then chooses the question type and the level.
What the Education Lab is testing here: how far generative AI can be taken in the preparatory stage of assessment without handing over responsibility for the content. The assistant is therefore not only a product but an exercise in drawing a line.
What this project shows
Assessment is one of the sharpest places to try GenAI, because quality, reliability and fidelity to the source count immediately. This project makes it visible that the Education Lab also puts GenAI to work on risky teaching processes, as long as that use stays transparent and checkable.
